Sheryl underwood is an American actress comedy and host on television best known for her role as co-host of The Talk's morning show. Sheryl was born and raised within Little Rock. Sheryl has a troubled family. Sheryl spent the majority of her growing up looking after her sister Frankie as she was a victim of polio. She had a lot of trouble with her mother while growing to. Sheryl says that her mother once stabbed at her father because he was too close. Sheryl went into military service following her graduation from college. However her interest lay in comedy. In 1989 she was the first female to make it to the top in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her TV career started in 1992, as an actor on the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the television show Oh Drama! in 2000. Then in 2011, she started appearing on The Talk as co-host. Additionally, she has portrayed real-life characters on shows such as Bulworth and Nikki, as well as Beauty Shop.
